These photos are from the Anna Hazare Hunger Strike protest against government corruption in New Delhi India. The Anna movement is fighting for an independent anti-corruption agency to be put in place to police the government of India. After 12 days of escalating media attention and a continual increase in protestors the Indian government agreed to the Lokpal Bill. The Lokpal Bill will in essence put an anti-corruption agency in place to monitor the government in India. This bill is still not complete and the Anna movement met again this past Sunday to let the government know they continue to stand in solidarity against government corruption.
